The Nuuk uses Fjällräven's proprietary synthetic Supreme Microloft insulation rather than down — it retains warmth when wet, which down cannot do. The outer shell is a high-denier polyamide with Hydratic membrane for waterproofing. The hood is designed to accommodate a helmet and has a wire brim for shaping in wind. The construction includes articulated elbows and knees for mobility in cold-weather activity. Two-way YKK zippers throughout.
