Orient manufactures their own in-house automatic movements (the caliber F6722 in the Bambino) — one of the few brands at this price point that doesn't use third-party movements. The in-house movement means Orient controls quality at every level and parts are always available for servicing. Mineral crystal, 30m water resistance, and a 316L stainless steel case. The automatic movement is self-winding from wrist motion and has a 40+ hour power reserve. Orient is owned by Seiko Epson, giving them access to serious horological manufacturing resources.
