RH sources high fill-power European white goose down (typically 650-750 fill power) encased in a high-thread-count cotton cambric shell. The baffle-box construction creates individual chambers that keep the down evenly distributed instead of shifting to the edges. Higher fill-power down means larger, more resilient clusters that maintain their loft through years of compression. The cotton shell is tightly woven enough to prevent down from poking through (the bane of cheap comforters). With proper care — occasional fluffing, a duvet cover, and professional laundering — a quality down comforter lasts 15-20 years.
